Bands of Courage - HOPE

The HOPE Band

Our new HOPE Band is hand designed on a cream fabric band with the word HOPE written in lovely 24k gold pleated beads.

The HOPE Band can also be purchased within a Set of 3 Bands along with the Sienna Band and the Natalie Band.

  • The Sienna Band is named after Sienna Hoffmann, the inspiration of the charity. It is hand crafted using tempered glass and 24K gold plated beads. The adjustable bracelet uses toughened cotton and fits any size of wrist between 13 cm (5.2 inches) and 24 cm (9.5 inches).
  • The Natalie Band is named after one of the charity’s most wonderful supporters. It is handmade and crafted by artisans using tempered glass and 24K gold plated beads. The stretch bracelet measures 17cm / 6.5 inches in length.

Bands of Courage

The design of these bands by Bands of Courage, is inspired by the frangipani flower, the logo for the registered charity Neuroblastoma Australia which supports research into the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma. The frangipani flower is symbolic in many cultures and for the charity it is a symbol of hope for all the children affected by this cancer.

Gift packaging - a gift that gives back

Every band comes in its own drawstring fabric pouch together with a planting certificate for your 10 trees. You address your certificate personally (by hand) which explains how your trees combat global warming to help people and animals alike. There is also a Neuroblastoma gift card on which you can write a personal message.

Your bracelet & care

The tempered glass beads will hold their colours in water although they should not be exposed to perfumes, chemicals, cosmetics and the like. The 24K gold plated beads should be treated like all gold jewellery (see care guide).

100% of the profits from the sale of this item go to the registered charityNeuroblastoma Australia to help fund leading research projects to develop new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma cancer.

Neuroblastomas are cancers that start in early nerve cells (called neuroblasts) of the sympathetic nervous system. This means that tumours can be found anywhere along this system; most commonly (about 50%) start in the adrenal glands (above the kidney), or near the spine, chest, neck or pelvis.
